I hope to bring you news on all the big events regarding as many development plans around the country that i can. There will also be a list of links to the various plans that are currently in the Draft/Reviewing Stages, with the dates submissions and publications are due by.

County Dublin:

Dublin City Development Plan

The 2011 – 2017 Draft City Development Plan has been Published and can be viewed on its very own website at the address below.

DCC have adopted a much more accessible online approach for this plan, hopefully there will be more like this around the country as the various plans are renewed.

Fingal County Development Plan

The current Development Plan runs from 2005 – 2011 and can be viewed here: Fingal County Development Plan 2005-2011

Fingal are currently in the process of preparing a Draf Development Plan. According to there website, that plan will be put on display on the 2nd April.

Draft due to be published on 2nd April 2010 – public consultation be open after this date till the 11th June 2010

South Dublin County Development Plan

The current Development Plan runs from 2004 – 2010 and can be viewed here:  South Dublin Development Plan 2004 – 2010

South Dublin are currently conducting the review process and adoption of a new development plan which will span from 2010 – 2016. The consultation period on the draft plan closed before Christmas 2009 and the planning department are preparing there report on the submissions received during the consultation period for consideration by the elected members. It could be presumed that this will happen some time near the end of March/beginning of April 2010.
